DreamWorks Animation is introducing an all new 32-second logo sequence that will first be seen on the upcoming feature film Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, in theaters December 21.
The brand new curtain raiser features DreamWorks’ iconic moonchild in flight, soaring through the stars amongst the studio’s celebrated franchises including this year’s The Bad Guys, alongside iconic characters from Dragons, Kung Fu Panda, The Boss Baby, Trolls and the granddaddy of the studio’s movies, Shrek.
The piece was developed and produced by an all-star DreamWorks creative team including producer Suzanne Buirgy (Abominable, Home) and production designer Kendall Cronkhite (Trolls movies). The music was composed by Harry Gregson-Williams who worked on the Shrek franchise in addition to other DWA films.
DreamWorks is offering a special sneak preview of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish this Saturday (Nov. 26th) at 2 p.m. prior to the opening of the much-anticipated sequel on Dec. 21. Audiences will be treated to the new curtain-riser before the movie. Tickets are currently on sale for the special showing on Fandango and other exhibitor ticketing sites.
