Fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race should be ready to get served some holiday cheer with an extra girdle twisting dash of Bianca Del Rio sass. Launched today, the new animated holiday short Bianca Saves Christmas features the Season 6 winner and arrives as Bianca is proclaimed the next host of The Pit Stop.
In the finest traditions of the stop-motion special, Bianca Saves Christmas opens on our heroine preparing to read a cozy gathering to filth with the 100% true story of how she once saved her benighted town from a hopeless holiday:
Bianca Saves Christmas brings audiences to the year 2009, where Palm Springs is a ghost town. Christmas cheer has plummeted to new lows, and Bianca Del Rio is the holiday’s last hope. Bianca’s Butler (voiced by Cheyenne Jackson) hopes to convince the Queen of Mean to save Christmas… but will she!?
The animation was done by award-winning Brooklyn studio Cartuna.
On The Pit Stop, Bianca and her guest for the episode will recap and review the most recent episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15, which premieres Friday, January 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. New episodes of The Pit Stop will premiere Saturdays on the RuPaul’s Drag Race YouTube channel.
