Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) and Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) have announced nominations for categories including outstanding achievement in television during 2022.
FOX has the most toon contenders again this year, combining three nods for 13-time winner The Simpsons with another nod for Bob’s Burgers (one previous win, 11 nominations) for four of the six slots. Last year’s winner, Tuca & Bertie, is back with another episode penned by series creator Lisa Hanawalt. The list is rounded out with first time nominee Undone.
Winners will be honored at the 2023 Writers Guild Awards (the 75th annual) ceremony on Sunday, March 5. Visit wgaeast.org/award/2023 for more information.
