Fans of cult-hit animated comedy Clone High, created by blockbuster hitmakers Phil Lord and Chris Miller (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The LEGO Movie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse) and Bill Lawrence (Ted Lasso, Scrubs), finally get a glimpse of the highly-anticipated refresh coming to HBO Max this spring. The streamer unveiled the official teaser trailer, following the WonderCon debut of first-look images and cast announcements.
Logline: Clone High is set at a high school for clones of historical figures. After a high school that was secretly being run as an elaborate military experiment to clone the greatest minds in history was put on ice, the clones have been thawed out 20 years later to resume the experiment with new clone classmates — all while navigating a new set of cultural norms and overly dramatic teen relationships.
From MTV Entertainment Studios, Clone High executive producers include Lord, Miller, Lawrence, Erica Rivinoja (South Park, Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm) and Erik Durbin (Last Man on Earth, American Dad!).
Returning stars include Will Forte as Abe and Nicole Sullivan as Joan; executive producers Phil Lord as Scudworth and Chris Miller as JFK and Mr. B; Christa Miller voicing Candide Sampson (voice of Cleo in the 2002 series); Donald Faison as George Washington Carver; and Judah Miller as Scangrade.
