Revenge is a dish best served with freshly grated parmesan in Pastacolypse, the new original adult animated comedy from Aqua Teen Hunger Force co-creator Matt Maiellaro, now available on Tubi. The 2D-animated movie is produced by FOX Entertainment’s Emmy-winning animation studio, Bento Box Entertainment.
Synopsis: When a global ban on gluten destroys his life, billionaire celebrity chef Alfredo Manicotti seeks revenge on all mankind. In the process, Alfredo is disfigured into a hideous creature — half-man, half-macaroni — and leads a pasta uprising that threatens humanity. In the end, it’s up to his spoiled heiress daughter, the angel-haired Emma Manicotti, to make the ultimate sacrifice and save the world from the impending Pastacolypse.
Featuring the voices of Lauren Holt (Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm, Saturday Night Live) as Emma, Dana Snyder (Aqua Teen Hunger Force) as Alfredo Manicotti, Lavell Crawford (Legends of Chamberlain Heights, Better Call Saul), Jess Harnell (HouseBroken, Animaniacs), William Sanderson (True Blood), Mary Spender (12 oz. Mouse), Teke Tabor, Dammon Hughes, L. Warren Young, jeff Campanella, Regina Ting Chen, Bonnie Wild and Candi VandiZandi.
Pastacolypse was written and executive produced by Maiellaro, the co-creator and writer of several Adult Swim animated classics, including Aqua Teen Hunger Force, 12 oz. Mouse, Perfect Hair Forever and Soul Quest Overdrive. The movie was directed Jason Shwartz (Wolfboy and the Everything Factory, Farzar).
