The newly launched free (and ad-free) streaming service ROKiT Flix announced today it will host a panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, where aspiring animation stars of all ages will have the chance to pitch their unique ideas to the executive team. The sessions will consider script ideas, comics, characters and animations for new content through ROKiT Animation All-Stars. The panel will also give helpful commentary and preview content coming to the platform.
Scheduled for Friday, July 21 at noon (SDCC schedule subject to change, keep track of the “Pitch Sesh” here), the panel will feature Jonathan Kendrick (ROKiT), Jody Bennett (ROKiT Studios), Larry Stroth (ROKiT Radio Theatre), Zac Canton (ROKiT Animation) and Charlie Kendrick (ROKiT Comics), moderated by T.J. Chambers (SYFY’s Great Debate, Mythical Entertainment).
Launched in May 2023, ROKiT Flix is billed as the world’s first no-cost family-friendly streaming service free from advertisements. The platform offers consumers access to a range of content, including 3D animation, classic cartoons, animated shorts, dubbed original content, educational content and public domain motion comics powered by ROKiT Motionise. The service is accessible via mobile, tablet or computer, available to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
