Paramount Pictures today announced two fan-centric screenings with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem Sneak Preview (Saturday, July 29 at 2 p.m. local time) and an Early Access Fan Event (Monday, July 31 at 7 p.m. local time) to celebrate the theatrical release of the film opening nationwide exclusively in theaters. Both one-show events will screen at participating theaters across the country, in advance of the film’s nationwide debut on August 2. The Early Access Fan Event will be presented in an array of premium theatrical formats, including Dolby Cinema and 4DX.

To mark the announcement, Paramount also debuted a brand-new clip from the film and a behind-the-scenes featurette, which you can watch below.

“We’re incredibly proud to bring this fresh, action-packed movie with so much humor and heart to audiences,” says Paramount Pictures President of Domestic Distribution Chris Aronson. “We’re unveiling a visually stunning, new TMNT world in a way that hasn’t been seen before.  We can’t wait for fans of all ages to experience Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem on the big screen.”

Synopsis: After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.

Ticketholders seeing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem at the advance Early Access Fan Event screening will also see special bonus content curated for this event, plus will receive exclusive giveaways including a special collector’s print and IDW cinema exclusive, classic covers comic book at their local theater on the date of the event, while supplies last.

Tickets for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem Sneak Preview / Early Access Fan Event and general tickets are on sale today:

In the first official clip from Mutant Mayhem, the Turtles prepare to infiltrate the human world — a place of danger, prejudice and, most importantly, Doritos. The scene features Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, Sharon Brown Jr. as Mikey, Micah Abbey as Donnie and Brady Noon as Raph.

In the new “Behind the Design” featurette, hear from director/co-writer Jeff Rowe, exec producer Seth Rogen (voice of Bebop), producer/co-writer Evan Goldberg, voice star Ice Cube (Superfly) and production designer Yashar Kassai about crafting the movie’s unique CG look, inspired by high school notebook doodles and the cool/gross ’90s kids’ brand trend.
