Celsys recently released the latest update of its illustration, comic, webtoon and animation app, Clip Studio Paint Ver. 2.1.0, bringing the intuitive Simple Mode interface to tablet devices. This Ver. 2.1.0 update gives monthly usage plan and update pass holders early access to the latest features that will be included in future versions.
This update also includes recording of project work time, lighter timelapse file sizes, improved operability of 3D drawing figures and a function to search for font names.

Users can now switch to Simple Mode on tablets
The new Simple Mode allows users to more quickly switch between tools than in the previous Studio Mode, so users can focus on drawing.
Simple Mode includes a selection of tools to make digital drawing easy for everyone, from basic illustration tools to popular advanced features such as poseable 3D models, liquify and smart color filling of closed areas.
On smartphone and tablet, users can switch between Simple Mode and Studio Mode at any time.
New simple and intuitive interface for tablet users
Clip Studio Paint is now pre-installed (availability may differ depending on the country and region) on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra/S9+/S9, as announced at Galaxy Unpacked on July 26.
First time users can receive up to six months free use of Clip Studio Paint for Galaxy on the Galaxy Tab S9 series. The latest version of Clip Studio Paint, available on the Galaxy Store, now features a more intuitive user interface Simple Mode for tablets. Beginner digital artists can start getting creative straight away with the latest version of Clip Studio Paint and the signature in-box S Pen with Galaxy Tab S9 series.
With the Ver. 2.1.0 update introducing the new Simple Mode for tablets, artists can take advantage of a more intuitive version of the user interface that makes it easier for entry-level users to start drawing, for fun and easy creativity on Galaxy tablets.
