Grom Social Enterprises, Inc. today confirmed that its original content and storytelling division Curiosity Ink Media has officially begun production on Hey Fuzzy Yellow!, a new animated preschool series slated to begin airing in several markets beginning in early 2025. The announcement was made by Jared Wolfson, Curiosity Ink Media’s Chief Executive Officer.
The series, a co-production by Curiosity Ink Media, Toon2Tango, Treehouse Republic and Hotel Hungaria Animation, in partnership with the show’s creator, Måns Swanberg, serves as a launchpad for expansion into a franchise entertainment brand with multiple ancillary revenue opportunities typically associated with hit preschool programming.
Combining curriculum-driven content, comedy and music, Hey Fuzzy Yellow! has been successful in attracting production funding, strategic investment and a range of creative talent. Composed of interstitial-style short-form segments, the 52 x 11′ series is designed to promote independent thinking and self expression. Additional international pre-sales are under consideration as the show enters production.

Curiosity Ink Media’s growing footprint in Kids’ Entertainment began when it opened its doors in 2017, prior to being acquired by Grom Social Enterprises, Inc. in 2021. Curiosity’s co-founder, Russell Hicks, previously served as President of Nickelodeon original programming and is widely credited with helping to usher in iconic global powerhouse entertainment brands including SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and PAW Patrol, among others.
Curiosity’s ongoing collaboration with Munich, Germany-based kids’ & family content production, development and distribution company Toon2Tango expands both Curiosity’s original IP activity and T2T’s global reach in animation. In addition to Hey Fuzzy Yellow!, the studios are cultivating another preschool property, Baldwin, as well as teaming up to produce Santa.com, an original animated holiday feature film which also goes by the same name as Grom’s and Curiosity’s holiday-centric digital ecommerce site and editorial platform.
