Home audiences can start planning their visit to Element City, as Pixar Animation Studios’ Elemental readies for release on all major digital platforms (Apple TV, Prime Video, Vudu, etc.) on August 15 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD September 26. The opposites-attract love story set in a world of fire, water, earth and air beings comes home bundled with bonus content including exclusive deleted scenes, featurettes, an audio commentary and the all-new short, Carl’s Date.
Synopsis: Elemental is an original feature film set in Element City, where residents of Fire, Water, Earth and Air live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.
Directed by Peter Sohn (The Good Dinosaur, Partly Cloudy short), and produced by Denise Ream (The Good Dinosaur, Cars 2), Elemental features a screenplay by John Hoberg & Kat Likkel and Brenda Hsueh, and stars the voices of Leah Lewis as Ember and Mamoudou Athie as Wade. The cast also features Ronnie del Carmen as Bernie, Shila Ommi as Cinder, Wendi McLendon-Covey as Gale, Catherine O’Hara as Brook, Mason Wertheimer as Clod, Joe Pera as Fern and Isiah Whitlock Jr. as Commander Burnside.
