Miles Morales and the multidimensional spider-crew are ready to swing to home video this summer, when Sony Pictures Home Entertainment releases Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on Digital on August 8 and on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD discs on September 5. The animated Marvel adventure comes home with 90-plus minutes of bonus content to enhance the whole Spidey-sense-tingling experience.
To get fans pumped for the release, Sony Pictures Entertainment today launched a preview of the special features, featuring voice stars Shameik Moore (Miles Morales), Hailee Steinfeld (Gwen Stacy), Jake Johnson (Peter B. Parker); writers-producers Christopher Miller and Phil Lord; and directors Justin K. Thompson, Joaquim Dos Santos and Kemp Powers.
Synopsis: Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga (2018, Best Animated Feature Film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders, and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.
