‘The Simpsons’ S34 Ready to Haunt Disney+ with Treehouse of Horror “Death Tome” Episode

Prepare to re-enter Springfield … If you dare! The Simpsons Season 34 will bring its unprecedented double-dose of “Treehouse of Horror” episodes to streaming on Disney+ starting Wednesday,  October 11. This includes “Treehouse of Horror XXXIII,” featuring the critically acclaimed segment “Death Tome,” which riffs on hit anime Death Note with an appropriately stylized animation aesthetic.

Season 34 of the Emmy, Annie and Peabody Award-winning animated comedy delivers 22 more episodes, also including milestone 750th episode of The Simpsons, titled “Homer’s Adventures through the Windshield Glass.” The season features guest voice appearances from Fred Armisen, Anna Faris, Will Forte, Simu Liu, Lizzo, Rob Lowe, Melissa McCarthy, Jade Novah, Aubrey PlazaBob’s Burgers star John Roberts and more.

The longest-running primetime scripted show in television history, The Simpsons debuted in 1989, quickly making Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie and their quirky fellow citizens of Springfield, U.S.A. into pop culture icons, and has remained one of the most groundbreaking and innovative entertainment franchises, recognizable throughout the world.

In addition to 34 seasons of The Simpsons, Disney+ is also home to The Simpsons Movie and 10 shorts featuring the Simpsons family. All these and more can be found in The Simpsons collection on the streaming service.

Disney+ is offering a limited time deal  to new and returning customers, who can sign up for Disney+ Basic (with ads) for $1.99 per month for three months. Offer expires September 20.

Season 35 of The Simpsons premieres in the FOX Animation Domination lineup on Sunday, October 1.
