The Critics Choice Association (CCA) announced today the TV category nominees for the 29th Annual Critics Choice Awards. The winners will be revealed at a gala ceremony hosted by Chelsea Handler, which will broadcast LIVE on The CW on Sunday, January 14, 2024 (7 – 10 p.m. ET, delayed PT, check local listings).
The nominees for Best Animated Series are:
- Bluey (Disney+, series premiered 2018) — Third consecutive nomination
- Bob’s Burgers (Fox, 2011) — Fifth consecutive nomination
- Harley Quinn (Max, 2019) — 2023 award winner; second consecutive nomination
- Scott Pilgrim Takes Off (Netflix, 2023)
- Star Trek: Lower Decks (Paramount+, 2020) — Second consecutive nomination
- Young Love (Max, 2023)
This year’s most-nominated live-action series are The Morning Show (Apple TV+) with six nominations and Succession (Max) with five, followed by A Small Light (NatGeo), Abbott Elementary (ABC), Beef (Netflix), Lessons in Chemistry (Apple TV+), Loki (Disney+), Reservation Dogs (Hulu) and The Bear (FX) tied with four each.
