Nuttery Entertainment and Toonz Media Group announce the start of the production for the pilot episode of their new animated series, Defenders of Imagination. Based on the long-running book series character Håkan Bråkan, created by best-selling Swedish authors Anders Jacobsson and Sören Olsson, the Defenders of Imagination is taking aim at Annecy to premiere its fight against boredom using a unique blend of fantasy, adventure, and comedy.
Defenders of Imagination revolves around a dynamic and imagination-powered brother-and-sister duo and the other in habitants of their small town of Glimmerdahl. Alongside their friends, these siblings stand against the adults, led by stoic and passionless Dr. Meyn, threatening to transform the world into a dull, productive and quiet dystopia.

The 11-minute, CGI-animated pilot aims to launch a full series aimed primarily at kids aged 6-9, but written to offer co-viewing opportunities for adults. The full Season 1 package will consist of 52 episodes.
