SPY X FAMILY Code White

Sony Pictures has updated its domestic film release schedule with the official U.S. debut for SPY X FAMILY Code: White. The North American rights acquisition was announced by the distributor in November, and the film is due to screen in both Japanese with English subtitles and an English dub version.

Directed by Takashi Katagiri and written by Ichiro Ohkouchi from an original story by SPY X FAMILY creator Tatsuya Endo, Code: White is produced by WIT Studio (Bubble, Attack on Titan franchise) and CloverWorks (Her Blue Sky, Rascal Does Not Dream franchise) — formerly A-1 Pictures, a subsidiary of Sony Music Ent. Japan’s anime prodco Aniplex.

Synopsis: He’s a spy. She’s an assassin. Together, Loid and Yor keep their double lives to themselves while pretending to be the perfect family. However, their adopted daughter Anya, a telepath, knows both of their exciting secrets unbeknownst to them. While under the guise of taking his family on a weekend winter getaway, Loid’s attempt to make progress on his current mission Operation Strix proves difficult when Anya mistakenly gets involved and triggers events that threaten world peace!

Crunchyroll has also acquired the film’s rights for Latin America, Australia/New Zealand, and select territories in Europe, including Austria, Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, the Nordics, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.

Based on the bestselling, Eisner- and Harvey-nominated manga written and illustrated by Endo (serialized in Shonen Jump Plus, over 31 million copies in circulation), the  SPY x FAMILY series produced by Toho Animation originally debuted on April 9, 2022. Seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream on Crunchyroll.
