‘Blood of Zeus’ Wraps Production on Season 2, Out May 15

The official Blood of Zeus page announced that production has been completed on Season 2 of the epic Greek mythology-inspired animated series. Netflix is dubbing the episodes into more than 20 languages for global release, and will launch the new season on May 15.

Confirmed for 2024 during last fall’s Geeked Week event, S2 of Blood of Zeus is again produced by Texas-based Powerhouse Animation (Castlevania, Seis Manos). Created by Charley and Vlas Parlapanides, the adult action-adventure series centers on Heron, a commoner living in ancient Greece, who discovers he is the son of Zeus, the king of the Olympian gods, and destined to defend the world from an army of demons.

Season 1 (streaming on Netflix) features the voices of Derek Phillips as Heron, Jason O’Mara as Zeus, Claudia Christian as Hera and Elias Toufexis as Seraphim, with additional roles filled by Mamie Gummer, Chris Diamantopoulos, Jessica Henwick, Melina Kanakaredes, Matthew Mercer, Adetokumboh M’Cormack, Fred Tatasciore and more. The Parlapinades are executive producers alongside Powerhouse Founder & CEO/CCO Brad Graeber.
