A brand new batch of enchanting adventures starring Mattel’s global toy icon arrives on Netflix today (April 18) with Barbie: A Touch of Magic Season 2. To celebrate the launch of 13 new episodes, Mattel Television offers up a sneak peek that will make a splash with Barbie: Mermaid Power fans.
Synopsis: When a magical crystal gem goes missing, Barbie and Barbie are on the case! Balancing their teenage lives in Malibu and their trips to the magical realm of Mesmer, they encounter new fantastical friends throughout. With themes of family, friendship and fantasy, A Touch of Magic Season 2 is sure to enchant audiences globally.
Barbie: A Touch of Magic S2 is executive produced by Christopher Keenan and Frederic Soulie for Mattel, directed by Scott Pleydell-Pearce (Barbie: It Takes Two; Barbie: Big City, Big Dreams; Blaze and the Monster Machines). The 13 x 22′ season is available to stream today on Netflix in the U.S> as well as APAC (exc. China), Spain, South Africa, Nordics and Benelux, with additional territories to follow later this year.
As previously announced, the new season is complemented by the release of a full music EP as well as a wide offering of dolls, playsets and accessories from Mattel.
