Final Trailer for ‘IF’ Lets Fanciful Creatures Loose in the Big City

Following the unveiling of a flurry of character posters yesterday, Paramount Pictures has dropped the final trailer for IF, the live-action/CG animation fantasy adventure from John Krasinski (A Quiet Place). A new Snapchat filter that lets users dance with their own IF (Imaginary Friend) has also launched to boost buzz for the family comedy, which opens in theaters May 17.

Synopsis: From writer and director John Krasinski, IF is about a girl who discovers that she can see everyone’s imaginary friends — and what she does with that superpower — as she embarks on a magical adventure to reconnect forgotten IFs with their kids.

IF stars Ryan Reynolds, John Krasinski, Cailey Fleming, Fiona Shaw, and the voices of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr. and Steve Carell. The imaginative ensemble cast of IFs also includes George Clooney, Keegan-Michael Key, Blake Lively, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Awkwafina, Maya Rudolph, Jon Stewart and more.
