Major European indie producer Mediawan, led by Pierre-Antoine Capton, and independent animation studio ZAG, led by Jeremy Zag, announced the creation of Miraculous Corp. This joint venture between reunites all facets of the Miraculous franchise, under the ownership of the two partners (approximately 60% for Mediawan, 40% for ZAG).
Jeremy Zag will continue his involvement as a major shareholder and Board member, while overseeing the development and creation of existing and new characters within the franchise. Joined a dedicated team, the JV is on a mission to elevate the brand’s global footprint, overseeing both creative and commercial endeavors.

Miraculous Corp further announced an unprecedented expansion for Ladybug and Cat Noir’s adventures. Fans can look forward to new TV movies, spin-off series with brand new characters (such as Rainbow Light, Tiger Force, Captain Justice, Time Master, Jungle Queen and Lady Dragon) and the highly anticipated Miraculous, The Movie 2 directed by Jeremy Zag.
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, the French animation sensation created by Thomas Astruc, Nathanaël Bronn and Jeremy Zag and co-produced by ZAG and Mediawan Kids & Family, has played in 150 territories. Since its debut in 2015, the series has enjoyed five seasons and three TV movies, with Seasons 6 and 7 in ongoing production. The show has picked up 30 industry awards since its launch.
Miraculous, The Movie directed by Jeremy Zag was one of the most-watched French animated films worldwide, pulling in $44 million and garnering over 35 million views on Netflix within a month.
Miraculous has a presence across various platforms, airing on Disney, Globo and TF1, as well as 37 billion YouTube views, over 250 million app downloads and 550+ million plays on Roblox. The brand’s licensing and merchandising endeavors have produced over 300 million branded products sold worldwide generating more than $400 million retail revenues last year.
