On Friday amid the Summer Game Fest festivities, developer Innersloth, adaptation prodco CBS Studios and series creator Owen Dennis (Infinity Train) pointed fans’ attention to a sneak peek at the main title for the Among Us animated series. Based on the social deception game that became a major hit with players and a memetic cultural touchstone in 2020, the series is being shopped by CBS Studios to potential broadcast/streaming partners.
Among Us the animated series features a fine crew of voice cast shipmates, including:
- Randall Park (Fresh Off The Boat) as Red, Captain of the Skeld
- Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us) as Purple, Chief of Security
- Yvette Nicole Brown (Community) as Orange from HR
- Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings film trilogy) as Green the Unpaid Intern
- Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey) as Blue, the Doctor
- Liv Hewson (Yellowjackets) as Black, the Geologist
- Kimiko Glenn (Orange Is the New Black) as Cyan, the Gemologist
- Patton Oswalt (We All Scream) as White, a Contest Winner
- Debra Wilson (MADtv) as Yellow, Ship Cook #1
- Phil LaMarr (MADtv) as Brown, Ship Cook #2
- and Wayne Knight (Seinfeld) as Lime, the Engineer
The series is produced by Eye Animation Productions, CBS Studios’ animation arm, in association with Innersloth, with animation provided by Titmouse. Dennis is series creator and executive producer. Also executive producing are Forest Willard, Marcus Bromander and Carl Neisser for Innersloth, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina for Titmouse.
