Emmy Award-winning actor Darren Criss (American Crime Story, Glee, Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths) is joining the voice cast of DreamWorks Animation’s global hit Gabby’s Dollhouse for the show’s milestone 10th season. Criss voices Marty the Party Cat, who lives the Dollhouse’s newest room: the Party Room. The new season of celebrations (6 x 22′) premieres on Netflix on August 5.
S10 Logline: Gabby and Pandy are excited to get tiny and give a cat-tastic Dollhouse welcome to their newest kitty friend, Marty the Party Cat! Marty and his a-meow-zing new home in the Dollhouse, the Party Room, are filled with endless surprises and with a wave of his magical “party tail” the Party Room can transform into any celebration you could imagine! A visit from wise Grandma CatRat, a magical wishing well and Gabby’s birthday party lead to sprinkle-riffic adventures and whoopsies along the way in Gabby’s Dollhouse — where there’s always a reason to celebrate!
Criss joins the series voice cast featuring Laila Lockhart Kraner as Gabby, Logan Bailey as Pandy Paws, Tara Strong as Kitty Fairy and Mama Box, Donovan Patton as CatRat, Juliet Donenfeld as Cakey, Maggie Lowe as Baby Box, Secunda Wood as MerCat, Sainty Nelsen as Pillow Cat, Eduardo Franco as DJ Catnip and Carla Tassara as Carlita.
Created by Traci Paige Johnson (Blue’s Clues, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood) and Jennifer Twomey (Blue’s Clues, Team Umizoomi), Gabby’s Dollhouse has spent seven weeks in the Global English TV Top 10 list and has been in the Top 10 in TV in 57 countries on Netflix, and has become a top three preschool brand in the U.S. According to Nielsen, Gabby’s Dollhouse was the sixth-most-viewed streaming original series for the year 2023. That same year, Netflix upped its episode order to 100.
