Former Moonbug managing director Andy Yeatman has joined Mediawan/Zag’s Miraculous Corp USA as CEO. Based in Los Angeles and reporting to Miraculous Corp Board Chairman Pierre-Antoine Capton, Yeatman will work closely with board member and major shareholder Jeremy Zag to build the future of Miraculous, which has become of the world’s most popular independent animed franchises of the past few years.
Miraculous Corp unites all facets of the globally acclaimed Miraculous brand under the joint ownership of Mediawan — Europe’s leading independent production and distribution powerhouse founded and led by Pierre-Antoine Capton, and ZAG — independent animation studio renowned for crafting original IPs, led by Jeremy Zag.
In his new role, Yeatman will oversee US and international business operations with the ambition of growing Miraculous into an expanded new universe with a new era of iconic characters, captivating narratives, and compelling new content that will include TV movies, spin-off series with original characters, and the highly anticipated Miraculous: The Movie 2, to be directed by Jeremy Zag.
Before joining Miraculous Corp, Yeatman was the Head of Moonbug USA for six years during which time he was instrumental in building and implementing the success of CoComelon, whose last season was the most-watched kids’ show on Netflix. He previously founded and led Netflix’s Kids’ Content department which created the largest slate of original Kids’ content in the industry. Before joining Netflix, Yeatman worked for some of the world’s largest media groups, including Walt Disney Studios, and earlier in his career, Ascent Media Group, Verizon and CIBC World Markets.
