Comic-Con 2024 attendees have a chance to get frickin’ paid with a themed giveaway contest promoting the newest FOX Animation Domination series. Fans who spot the real-life Mark Hoagies from Universal Basic Guys in San Diego could score some of the toon star’s Universal Basic Income!
Mark Hoagies (and his giant hot dog companion) will be wandering the streets of the historic Gaslamp District as well as inside and outside the San Diego Convention Center during SDCC (July 26-28). If you spot them, just scan the QR code provided for your chance to win.
As previously announced, Universal Basic Guys will premiere Sunday, September 8, immediately following the FOX NFL Doubleheader (8-8:30 p.m. ET, live to all time zones). The show will make its timeslot debut on Sunday, September 29 at 8:30 p.m.
Created by Adam and Craig Malamut (Sports Friends, Game of Zones, The Champions), Universal Basic Guys centers on brothers Mark and Hank Hoagies, who, after losing their jobs at the hot dog factory to robots, are given $3,000 a month in a new basic income program. Now, they’re using their free time and free money to find purpose in a world where they’re no longer needed.
