You’re Next is directed by Okamura Tensai (Naruto: Snow Princess’ Book of Ninja Arts, Darker Than Black: Gaiden, The Seven Deadly Sins) from a screenplay by Kuroda Yosuke. The creative team also includes main character designer Magoe Yoshihiko, character designer/supervising animation director Hayashi Yuki, animation director Odajima Hitomi and composer Hayashi Yuki. My Hero Academia is based on the popular manga by Kohei Horikoshi serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha), which has sold more than 85 million copies.
