‘Love, Death + Robots’ Creator Tim Miller’s Game-Inspired Animated Anthology ‘Secret Level’ Headed to Prime Video

Fans of the critically acclaimed Love, Death + Robots — winner of a whopping 13 Emmy Awards and eight Annie Awards across its three volumes — can look forward to another adult animated anthology from creator Tim Miller and his animation/VFX prodco Blur Studios. Prime Video has greenlit Secret Level, which will present original short stories set in the worlds of familiar video games.

Miller is creator and executive producer of Secret Level, which is being produced by Blur and Amazon MGM Studios. Longtime Blur Studio supervisor and cinematic director Dave Wilson, who helmed the LDR Vol. 1 short Sonnie’s Edge and the Vin Diesel actioner Bloodshot, will serve as executive producer and supervising director.

Additional details of the project, such as whether this series will follow suit with LDR by tapping multiple international animation studios and directors and which video games will be represented in the show, are expected to be revealed at Gamescom (Aug. 21-25). Ahead of any official announcement, rumor has it that the show will take inspiration from games including New World (Amazon Games) and Spelunky (Mossmouth).
