Watch: Netflix Teases Geeked Week 2024 Featuring ‘Arcane’ S2

Netflix today announced that its fourth annual Geeked Week event for genre movies, series, animation and games will be held the week of September 16 — culminating in the programming spotlight’s first-ever live, in-person fan event in Atlanta on the evening of Thursday, September 19.

Details of the showcase titles will be announced in the coming weeks, but the teaser trailer released today features the hit Avatar: The Last Airbender and One Piece live-action remakes, breakout Korean drama Squid Game, Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman, Tim Burton’s Wednesday and the eagerly anticipated Season 2 return of award-winning, critically-acclaimed League of Legends animated series Arcane and another game-inspired toon-up, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft.

Some of the other animation projects to look out for, which got updates during the Next on Netflix presentation in June, include Zack Snyder’s Twilight of the Gods, the Yamaha anime movie Tokyo Override, Echo Wu’s Gentry Chau vs. The Underworld (all coming in 2024), musical action-adventure K-Pop: Demon Hunters, WWI steampunk anime Leviathan and fantasy epic Wolf King (2025). If previous editions are anything to go by, fans will have plenty of new footage, imagery and insider details to digest during Geeked Week 2024.

Watch the teaser and check out the Geeked Week Hub at Tudum (as well as Animation Magazine!) for future updates.
