‘Arcane’ Unveils New Clip and Three-Act Conclusion Plans at Geeked Week LIVE

During Thursday night’s Geeked Week LIVE 2024 event, Riot Games and Netflix revealed the epic conclusion of Arcane will debut on November 9. The second, finale season chronicling Vi’s journey will be available on Netflix in three distinct acts.

  • Act One begins November 9
  • Act Two on November 16
  • Act Three (the final part) on November 23

Voice stars Hailee Steinfeld (Vi) and Ella Purnell (Jinx) also revealed Afterglow, an all-new after show where fans can find out everything they need to know about each act. More info on this to come.

Produced by Fortiche Production and based on the League of Legends game, Arcane is one of Netflix’s most successful animated series ever. The adult animated series is created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee. Executive producers include Linke, Marc Merrill and Brandon Beck. Fortiche directed and produced the animation, under the direction of the founders Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord.

In addition to Steinfeld and Annie Award winner PUrnell, the voice cast includes Katie Leung (Caitlyn), Reed Shannon (Ekko), Amirah Vann (Sevika), Mick Wingert (Heimerdinger), Ellen Thomas (Ambessa) and Brett Tucker (Singed) among others to be announced.

Season 1 of Arcane solidified Netflix’s was praised as one of the Best TV Shows of 2021 and earned four Primetime Emmy Awards (2022) including Outstanding Animated Program — the first streaming series to win Outstanding Animated Program. The series swept the 2022 Annie Awards with wins in nine categories, including Best TV/Media, Best Writing, Best Voice Acting (Ella Purnell), Best Direction (with Fortiche Production), Best Production Design (with Fortiche Production), Best Character Animation (with Fortiche Production), Best Storyboarding, Best Character Design and Best FX (with Fortiche Production). The series was also recognized by the gaming community winning Best Adaptation at The Game Awards (2022). In addition, the Arcane album was nominated for a 2022 Billboard Music Award for Top Soundtrack.
