The match-up nobody saw coming is hitting the field in Transformers One: Robots in Jerseys, a new action figure adventure released today. The stop-motion and live-action story is created by Paramount Pictures, Stupid Buddy Stoodios (Robot Chicken, Titan Maximum) and Framework Studio.
Robots in Jerseys unfolds as the ultimate game of football as the stars of Paramount Animation’s Transformers One — Chris Hemsworth (Orion Pax/Optimus Prime), Keegan-Michael Key (B-127/Bumblebee), Brian Tyree Henry (D-16/Megatron) and Scarlett Johansson (Elita) — going helmet to helmet with grid iron greats Brock Purdy, Deebo Samuel and “Megatron” himself, Calvin Johnson, in an epic battle on the turf.
Transformers One arrives in theaters on September 20. The film is produced by Paramount Animation and Hasbro.
