Watch: ‘Krapopolis’ Returns with Pantheon of Guest Stars for Season 2 This Fall

Breaking vase news: This month, Dan Harmon’s (Rick and Morty, Community) ancient Greece comedy Krapopolis is returning to the FOX Animation Domination lineup for Season 2, featuring a full phalanx of guest stars! New episodes launch Sunday, September 29 (9:30-10 p.m. ET/PT).

Ahead of the launch, FOX has dropped a sneak peek clip featuring Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear) as Opie, an old monster pal of Shlub’s, in the S2 premiere episode.

The guest roster also boasts Alison Brie (Community), Seth Rogen (Pineapple Express), Danny Pudi (Community), Nick Kroll (Big Mouth), Randall Park (Blockbuster), Holmes (Welcome to Flatch), Sam Richardson (HouseBroken), Paul Scheer (The League), Brian Baumgartner (The Office), Dylan Gelula (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Jason Mantzoukas (Big Mouth), Ashley Park (Emily in Paris) and Minnie Driver (Good Will Hunting).

Synopsis: Set in mythical ancient Greece, Krapopolis tells the story of a dysfunctional family of humans, gods and monsters trying to run one of the world’s first cities, while also trying their best to not kill each other in the process.

The series stars Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd) as Tyrannis, the mortal son of a goddess and the self-involved king of Krapopolis; Emmy Award winner Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso, Game of Thrones) as Deliria, Tyrannis’ mother, goddess of self-destruction and questionable choices; Matt Berry (What We Do in the Shadows) as Shlub, Tyrannis’ father, a hypersexual “mantitaur” (half centaur [horse + human], half manticore [lion + human + scorpion]; Pam Murphy (Mapleworth Murders) as Stupendous, Tyrannis’ ass-beating half-sister, daughter of Deliria and a cyclops; and Duncan Trussell (The Midnight Gospel) as Hippocampus, Tyrannis’ half-brother, offspring of Shlub and a mermaid and Krapopolis’ resident self-loathing scientist.
