Animaccord has signed a comprehensive media deal with France TV, encompassing a wide range of content from the popular series Masha and the Bear. The new contract features three thematic specials, the latest classic seasons, and the spin-off. Among the content released since the beginning of the year are the winter special ‘Masha and the Bear: The Legend of the 12 Months’, the wedding special Masha and the Bear: Say Cheese, as well as Shorties and Seasons 6-7.
This partnership grants France TV and its services, including France 4, France 5, and the OKOO platform, exclusive broadcasting rights in France and French overseas departments and territories.
Masha and the Bear airs weekdays at 8:20 a.m. on France 5, and has secured a 15% market share, making it one of the top children’s titles on France TV for the first half of the year. This morning slot has notably contributed to an increase in the channel’s market share during the first term of 2024, reflecting a significant gain compared to 2023.
Animaccord and France TV are planning release of a brand-new third special expected for Q2 2025. Additional release dates for new content will be released at a future date.

Masha and the Bear: The Legend of the 12 Months. This Christmas special centers on the enchanting adventures of the beloved Masha and the 12 Months—wizards of nature whose magical powers help to prepare for an unforgettable holiday.
Masha and the Bear: Say Cheese. In this engaging mini-movie, Masha helps Bear pursue his dream of buying a yacht by encouraging him to become a wedding photographer. Together, they navigate the challenges of their new roles, creating memorable and often chaotic wedding scenes.

Rai, Italy will broadcast new episodes from Season 6 and 7 on Rai Yoyo and showcase on Rai Play as well as extend the rights for Nursery Rhymes starting Q4, 2024, across Italy, Vatican City, Republic of San Marino, Monaco and Malta.
AMC Networks Intl, Southern Europe. As the leading family content network in Spain, the pay TV channel Enfamilia is showcasing new parts of Season 6 and 7, along with Shorties and the brand-new third Masha and the Bear Special, from Q3 ’24 to Q2’25.
Dreamia, Portugal: Canal Panda, the first children’s channel in Portugal, will roll out new episodes from the latest Seasons 6-7 and Specials Say Cheese and The Legend of 12 Months through 2024 and into 2025.
Mountain Road Ent. Group BV: Partnering with top broadcasters Zapp in the Netherlands, new Seasons 6-7 and two specials will air from late 2024 to late 2025.
