The official short film spooktacular and live comedy programming details for this year’s three-city Animation Block Party Halloween festivities have been announced. The ghoulish good time is happening Thursday, October 31 in New York City (at Brooklyn’s Union Hall), Los Angeles (Lyric Hyperion [updated venue change]) and Chicago (Color Club, hosted by Malt Adult).
The film program, screening in all cities, includes:
- Animation Block Pumpkin Head Intro animated by Sunshine Mall.
- Andy Shauf – “Halloween Store” animated by Margaret Bialis.
- Frog’s Jack-o’-lantern animated by Lumi Barron.
- Escape the Kitchen! animated by Isabelle Weiser.
- Happy Haunting animated by Katie Kapuza.
- Eye Pause animated by Michael Swearingen.
- Dead Man’s Party animated by Tristan Scolnick.
- Haunted House animated by Ayden Lamb.
- Klunk in the Night animated by Tom Eaton.
- Nostril animated by Michael Dondero and Shengnan Dong.
- Same Old Boo Sheet animated by Rusty Eveland.
- Only Human animated by Nolan Downs.
- Animation Block Pumpkin Head Outro animated by Adam Ansorge.
In addition to the seasonal shorts, the Halloween parties in each city will feature a performance by live animation comedy troupe Picture This!, with the following comedians and artists (including Adventure Time creator Pen Ward):
