HIDIVE is giving the gift of laughs this holiday season with the new rom-com series I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? helping to kick-off the New Year as part of its Winter 2025 simulcast season. The anime is based on the popular manga series created by Yakitomato and Kotatsu and will stream exclusively on HIDIVE, AMC Networks’ anime streaming service.

Synopsis: In order to protect an ordinary businessman, Tsukasa Atsumi, from demons, a genius kunoichi, Shizuri Ideura, signs a master-servant contract with him on the condition that she stays with him. Despite her cool appearance of defeating demons, Shizuri is an otaku NEET who spends all her time playing video games. While Shizuri is spoiled by Tsukasa and leads a lazy cohabitation life, the quirky Kunoichi gather together… A romantic comedy about living together with a genius Kunoichi who is an otaku and a NEET!
Originally by Yakitomato and Kotatsu, I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? is now published in print by Kadokawa and in e-book by No. 9. The anime adaptation is directed by Hisashi Saito (The Testament of Sister New Devil, Heaven’s Lost Property) and written by Takashi Aoshima (Kaginado, Kakushigoto) along with character design by Masahiko Suzuki (The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei, Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games Is Tough for Mobs) and production by Quad (Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department, My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog).
The series stars Hinaki Yano as Shizuri Ideura, Shoya Ishige as Tsukasa Atsumi and Shigeru Chiba as the narrator.
