A new CG-animated comedy with plenty of gas is revving up for its U.K. debut! Mojo Swoptops (52 x 11′) will be taking preschooler viewers on fun ride when it premieres Monday, October 7 on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer.
Synopsis: Meet Mojo, a plucky little truck who can tackle any job with a quick swop of a top. Fire truck? On it! Helicopter? No problem! Crane top with a giant great big wrecking ball? Well, they’re only trying to get a cat out of a tree … but let’s give it a go!
Mojo’s best friend, Bo, joins the fun with a toolbox full of talent and a whole load of big ideas. When the good folks of Swoppiton are in a pickle, they know just who to call. Our dynamic duo shifts into high gear, racing to the rescue with laughter and can-do spirit as their fuel!
Produced by the award-winning Blue Zoo Animation Studios (The Adventures of Paddington, Numberblocks) in collaboration with Tararaboom, Mojo Swoptops is based on the popular Ladybird book series by Cindy Black and Rich Ward. The animated series is directed by Dominic Minns (Supertato) and Olly Brown.
Mojo Swoptops has already pre-sold to eight major territories, and plans for a second season are underway. The show is a co-production of Blue Zoo (U.K.), Hotel Bonka (Belgium) and Kazoo (France), marking the latter’s inaugural project.
