The world-famous fairies of Winx Club are ready to enchant audiences all over again in the brand-new, CG-animated series coming in 2025 to Rai (Italy) and Netflix (worldwide). Producer Rainbow has debuted a first-look image and official teaser trailer for the project via the brand’s official YouTube channel.
The preview promises a fan-focused reboot ‘which celebrates a return to the origins of the saga that has captivated millions of fans around the world but has been transformed with innovative special effects and a compelling narrative.’
Transporting viewers back to the Magic Dimension as it has never been seen before, the new series returns to the origins of the Winx Club. The reboot features a fusion of the iconic themes that have made it a worldwide phenomenon with a renewed contemporary look, allowing fans to experience the fairies’ adventures from a new perspective.
Since its debut in 2004, the series created by Iginio Straffi, and produced and distributed by Rainbow, has achieved extraordinary milestones: Eight animated seasons co-produced with RAI; three theatrical films; four TV movies; two animated series co-produced with Netflix; two live-action Netflix Original Fate – The Winx Saga seasons; and millions of fans worldwide, with more than 20 billion views on YouTube and more than 35 billion on TikTok.
The trailer debut arrives as part of the show’s 20th anniversary celebrations, beginning a countdown to to more Winx Club magic.
