The highly-anticipated second (and final) season of Netflix’s adult animated series Arcane kicks off this Saturday, November 9 with Act 1. Ahead of the launch, the streamer announced the episode count and titles for this first batch drop, which will plunge viewers back into the hard-brawling world of League of Legends.
The aftermath of Jinx’s attack on the Council sets the stage for new leaders to emerge, new alliances to form, and a dire escalation of the conflict between Piltover and Zaun.
Debuting this weekend will be three episodes:
- Ep. 1 “Heavy Is the Crown”
- Ep. 2 “Watch It All Burn”
- Ep. 3 “Finally Got the Name Right”
Act 2 will drop on November 16, with the final cluster of episodes arriving in Act 3 on November 23.

The show is created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee; executive producers include Linke, Marc Merrill and Brandon Beck. Voices include Hailee Steinfeld (Vi), Annie Award winner Ella Purnell (Jinx), Katie Leung (Caitlyn), Reed Shannon (Ekko), Amirah Vann (Sevika), Mick Wingert (Heimerdinger), Ellen Thomas (Ambessa) and Brett Tucker (Singed).
Season 1 of Arcane was globally praised as one of the Best TV Shows of 2021, and earned four Primetime Emmy Award (2022) including Outstanding Animated Program — the first streaming series to win Outstanding Animated Program. The series swept the 2022 Annie Awards with wins in nine categories: Best TV/Media, Best Writing, Best Voice Acting (Ella Purnell), Best Direction, Best Production Design, Best Character Animation, Best Storyboarding, Best Character Design and Best FX (with Fortiche Production.) The series was also recognized by the gaming community, winning Best Adaptation at The Game Awards (2022).
