Today, Ecuadorian artist and storyteller Chogrin (Joseph Game) launched his original CG animated short Lucky Brave’s Sunshine to YouTube, available to watch for free. The 2023 film has screened in competition at international festivals including Chilemonos and Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (LALIFF), where it was nominated for Best Direction.

Lucky Brave’s Sunshine is co-written & co-directed by Chogrin and Andrés “Ichi” Aguilar and produced by Maya and the Three creator Jorge R. Gutierrez. Animation production was handled by Quito, Ecuador-based Matte CG (matte.cg), producers of Aguilar’s festival favorite short Afterwork, and Inti FX (FB).
