Brain Power Studio, a global entertainment content creator and distributor based in Toronto, announces the promotion of Nancy Yeaman to Chief Operating Officer and the addition of Rimma Belau as Director of Finance.
In her newly created role as COO, Yeaman will oversee Brain Power Studio’s expanding intellectual property creation initiatives and corporate affairs. Formerly the EVP of Kids and Original Content, she was instrumental in managing content business affairs, including talent negotiations, IP acquisitions and writer agreements.
Yeaman brings a wealth of experience from her time at Portfolio Entertainment Inc. and WildBrain, where she held senior development roles.
Belau joins the team to oversee production and corporate finance, as well as risk management. She will lead consolidation efforts and foster relationships with third-party lenders and auditors.
A seasoned CPA with over 15 years of experience in accounting and finance across the entertainment and manufacturing industries, Belau previously served as Finance Manager at TimePlay Inc.
“Nancy has been the backbone of our content pipeline, and her dedication has been pivotal to Brain Power Studio’s growth. Expanding her role is a natural step as we continue to scale,” said Beth Stevenson, CEO of Brain Power Studio. “We are equally thrilled to welcome Rimma, whose expertise and insights will be invaluable as we navigate our next phase of growth.”
Brain Power Studio has two fully equipped filming facilities and a VFX team located in Ontario, Canada, that develop and produce feature films and television series.
