Crunchyroll Launches ‘Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time’ English Dub

Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time kv

Crunchyroll welcomed in the New Year with the same-day launch of the English-language dub for Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time on January 1. The isekai adventure is based on the light novels by Kogitsunemaru (adapted into a manga by Taro Sasakama), following a hapless newcomer to a fantastical world who becomes a hero against his wishes.

From publisher Alpha Manga:

Not even a hero, Takumi Iruma gets accidentally mixed in with a group of heroes chosen to be summoned to another world. As compensation for the mix-up, a goddess offers him the right to choose any skill he wishes for! Hoping for a peaceful and quiet life that has nothing to do with fighting or going into battle, he chooses a seemingly boring creation skill. However, it turns out “alchemy” is the most powerful skill that allows him to create everything from a holy sword to flying ships! This cheat skill he unexpectedly acquired turns him into a wealthy merchant and makes him undefeatable in battles! A heartwarming adventure story about (possibly) the most powerful alchemist in another world!

The English dub cast is led by Zac Loera as Takumi, joined by Lexa Childress as Nolyn, Jacob Browning as Banga, Rebecca Chiara Marano as Molly, Bree Han as Elizabeth, Mike Smith as Bobon, Elise Baughman as Martha, Katie Wetch as Akane, James Marler as Akira, Reagan Murdock as Yamato, Katie Otten as Female Angel and Jessica Peterson as Maple.

The dub is voice directed by Jerry Jewell, produced by Susie Nixon and adapted by Domonique French, with mix by Neal Malley and engineering by Manuel Aragon.

Just one of a winter flurry of new dubs and simulcasts coming to Crunchyroll, Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time is directed by Naoyuki Kuzuya (Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire) with series composition by Mitsutaka HIrota (Helck), character design by Sayaka Anezaki and music by Hiroshi Nakamura, produced by Studio Comet.
