Disney Celebrates 30 Years of ‘Toy Story’ with New Product Collabs & Brand Spot

It’s been 30 years since a lovable cowboy and a hotshot space hero walked out of the toybox and into movie history in Pixar Animation Studios’ Toy Story. Three decades later, fans can mark the milestone alongside Disney with a celebratory lineup featuring a nostalgic brand spot, new products, Disney Theme Park experiences and more

The new brand spot takes a look back at Pixar’s first feature film, which signaled a new era of high-quality CG-animated filmmaking. Thirty years later, Toy Story remains an influential work, with its character and storytelling becoming part of Disney’s Theme Parks, Cruises, Hotels, Publishing, Consumer Products and beyond. Celebrate 30 years of friendship!

 

New Products

This spring, Disney is collaborating with ColourPop, Adidas and Ray-Ban Kids in both sun and optical styles, who each are launching new products for kids and adult fans in celebration of Toy Story‘s 30th anniversary.

Launched last week, the Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story Collection by ColourPop, is the brand’s first ever Pixar collection and pays homage to the film through shades and packaging inspired by the beloved characters.

On the Publishing front, there are three releases this spring and summer. All are available for pre-order now:

Originally from Disney Store China, Hamm and Rex Gamer Plush are now available for the first time on DisneyStore.com in the United States. DisneyStore.com carries a wide assortment of Toy Story merchandise, including Talking Action Figures inspired by favorite characters like Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Slinky Dog, and more!

Fans can look forward to more collaborations with their favorite brands that will launch later this year.

Disney and Mattel have renewed a global, multi-year licensing agreement for new products commemorating Toy Story’s 30th anniversary and Toy Story 5. The agreement spans Action Figures, Vehicles, Radio Control, Preschool, Games, and Plush, expanding Mattel and Disney’s long-standing Toy Story relationship dating back to the 1990s.

Select 30th Anniversary products are available now, with exciting releases tied to Pixar’s upcoming feature film Toy Story 5, releasing in 2026.

UNO, the world’s #1 traditional game property for three consecutive years, will release a new edition featuring a custom rule inspired by Toy Story 5, while other family favorites like Kerplunk! (U.S.) and Tumblin’ Monkeys (global) continue collaborations for the franchise’s latest theatrical chapter.

Disney and Pixar are launching a new YouTube series for kids this month to kick-off the anniversary celebration. The new series consists of over 160 pieces of Toy Story content including several Toy Story Shorts, character profiles and games across Disney Kids and Pixar YouTube channels. Fans can watch the new content rolling out now on Disney Kids.

Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Toy Story by watching or re-watching the fan-favorite film exclusively on Disney+. Subscribers can also stream the entire Toy Story collection including three sequels, television specials and several shorts.

You can also catch your favorite Toy Story characters at Disney California Adventure in Anaheim with the return of “Better Together: A Pixar Pals’ Celebration” this summer, plus around the world at Toy Story Land at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Disneyland Paris, Shanghai Disney Resort and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

The excitement and adventure continues into 2026 with the release of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5. The toys are back, and this time, its toys meet tech in the new feature film directed by franchise alum Andrew Stanton and co-directed by Kenna Harris.
