‘Simpsons’ & ‘Futurama’ Dominate WGA Nominations

The Writers Guild of America has announced the nominations for outstanding achievement in television, new media, news, radio, promotional writing and graphic animation for the 2014 Writers Guild Awards, set to take place during simultaneous ceremonies in L.A. and New York on Saturday, February 1, 2014. While live-action dramas and comedies like Breaking Bad, Orange Is the New Black and House of Cards sweep the key categories, Matt Groening’s The Simpsons and Futurama lead the toon nominee pack.
