‘Frozen’ Spins its Magic on Disc

It’s as close to animated magic as the box office has seen in quite a while, and now Frozen is coming to home video formats.

The multiple-Oscar-winning Frozen (Disney, $29.99 DVD, $39.99 Blu-ray, DVD and digital copy combo pack) arrives in stores at last. The instant classic tells the tale of Princess Anna and her sister Queen Elsa, whose ice powers threaten to drive them apart even as it freezes over their kingdom.

Complementing the recent release of the original, comes The Jungle Book 2 (Disney, $29.99 DVD, $36.99 Blu-ray). The 2003 sequel is new to Blu-ray.

On the action front, there’s Transformers Rescue Bots: Heroes on the Scene (Shout! Factory, $14.93).

Kid-friendly releases include: Doc McStuffins: Mobile Clinic (Disney, $19.99), Justin Time: Amazing Adventures! (Cinedigm Entertainment, $12.95), Justin Time: Far Away Friends! (Cinedigm Entertainment, $12.95), Justin Time: Goes Exploring! (Cinedigm Entertainment, $12.95), Kaboom: Easter Egg-Ventures (Phase 4 Films, $12.99), Octonauts: To The Gup-X (NCircle Entertainment, $12.99), Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures: Ghost Patrol (Phase 4 Films, $12.99) and Peppa Pig: My Birthday Party (eOne Entertainment, $14.98).

Anime fans can look forward to Bleach Box Set 20 (VIZ Media, $44.82), To Love Ru: Season 1 Complete (Section23 Films, $89.98 Blu-ray) and Upotte: The Complete Collection (Section 23 Films, $59.98 DVD, $69.98 Blu-ray).
