20th Century Fox has unveiled another new trailer for its upcoming Marvel extravaganza X-Men: Days of Future Past, which sees First Class director Bryan Singer returning to the helm and will hit theaters on May 23. The new trailer offers tantalizing glimpses at the hard-to-nail-down Quicksilver (American Horror Story‘s Evan Peters), awesome vfx (Magneto picks up a stadium) and touches of period realism (’70s Charles Xavier’s hair).
X-Men: Days of Future Past will see characters from the original X-Men films teaming up with their younger selves for an epic battle to change the past so they can save the future. Starring Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), James McAvoy & Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Michael Fassbender & Ian McKellen (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Halle Berry (Storm), Anna Paquin (Rogue), Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde), Shawn Ashmore (Iceman), Nicholas Hoult (Beast) and Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask, the genius military scientist behind the mutant-hunting Sentinels.
