Disney Junior viewers in the U.S. will unwrap a new animated treat this holiday season as preschool series Kate & Mim-Mim launches December 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The show is created by award-winning husband and wife team Scott & Julie Stewart, and inspired by their own children’s creative fantasies. Nerd Corps Entertainment produced and developed the series; FremantleMedia Kids & Family Ent. holds exclusive worldwide TV and Licensing rights (excluding Canada).
The show centers on high-spirited tyek Kate who uses her vivid imagination to take her toy rabbit Mim-Mim on amazing journeys to the fantasy world of Mimiloo, where anything can happen and no problem is too big for a big thinker (and her big bunny buddy). Kate & Mim-Mim explores preschool-appropriate themes of friendship, teamwork, adventure and problem solving while encouraging children to use their imaginations and work together to tackle challenges.
Kate & Mim-Mim‘s launch will be immediately followed by a special holiday-themed episode, “A Christmas Wish.” Disney Junior will air subsequent episodes Monday through Thursday at8 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
