Glen Keane Demos VR Drawing for Future Summit

The annual Future of Storytelling Summit is always a fascinating event for the insights it offers into the evolving technology and art of storytelling. And this year, animation legend Glen Keane is getting in on the act.

The 38-year Disney veteran and creator of the Oscar nominated short film and Google app Duet is slated to speak at the fourth edition of the event, set for Oct. 7-8 in New York City, on the potential of animation and storytelling with respect to virtual reality technology.

Here’s a clip the event has provided featuring Keane demonstrating virtual drawing featuring some of his best known characters.

The Future of Storytelling Summit gathers leaders in communications, media, entertainment and advertising to explore the evolution of storytelling from all angles: creative, technology, critical, formal and financial. The event is invitation only.
