Wizart Animation announced a partnership with Flame Node Entertainment and Alibaba Group to bring to China its new feature Sheep and Wolves.
Flame Node Entertainment, which released last year the animated Chinese box-office hit Monkey King, picked up distribution rights for a wide theatrical release. The movie is set to open in China this summer.
Flame Node also managed to get on board Alibaba Group, a leading Chinese e-commerce company, as a merchandising partner.
Additional distribution deals have set for Italy, with Barter Entertainment; Spain, via European Dreams Factory; and Portugal, through Lanterna de Pedra Filmes.
