Gamescom 2017 wrapped up in Cologne Thursday night with the presentation of this year’s awards. Sweeping the event was the Nintendo Switch title Super Mario Odyssey, which snagged the coveted Best of Gamescom Award, the consumer-voted Most Wanted Award, and three of the juried categories.
Also among the winners were multiple nominees Destiny 2 from Activision Blizzard — with two wins), Assassin’s Creed (Ubisoft), Middle-earth: Shadows of War (Warner Bros. Interactive), Ni No Kuni II (Bandai Namco). You can see the full list of nominees here.
