If you need an extra colorful dose of feel-good, friends-first positive energy today, get your weary eyeballs on these new trailers for True and the Rainbow Kingdom season 2. The Netflix Original preschool series from Guru Studios (PAW Patrol, Justin Time) in collaboration with Pharrell Williams’ I Am Other, renowned art collective FriendsWithYou and Home Plate Entertainment is bringing more problem solving magic to streaming on June 15.
The series follows 8-year-old True and her best friend Bartleby the cat, as they help the whimsical citizens of the wondrous Rainbow Kingdom using wishes from the magical Wishing Tree. Each episode features themes of mindfulness, as True practices being present and asking “what do I know and what can I do?” in order to find a solution to the day’s problem; and empathy, as season 2 gives a deeper understanding of the people and creatures of Rainbow Kingdom and True models emotional resilience and caring for others when dealing with unexpected challenges.
The second season will be presented as two standalone titles: True: Magical Friends and True: Wonderful Wishes, each with five all-new episodes.
