Directed by Sam Liu (Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay, Batman: Gotham by Gaslight) and Jake Castorena (Justice League Action, Batman: The Brave & the Bold), the movie features an all-star voice cast led by Jerry O’Connell (Crossing Jordan), Rebecca Romijn (X-Men) and Rainn Wilson (The Office) as the voices of Superman, Lois Lane and Lex Luthor, respectively. They are joined by returning voices of the Justice League: Jason O’Mara (The Man in High Castle) as Batman, Rosario Dawson (Sin City) as Wonder Woman, Shemar Moore (S.W.A.T.) as Cyborg, Nathan Fillion (Castle) as Green Lantern/Hal Jordan, Matt Lanter (Timeless) as Aquaman, and Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs) as The Flash.
Available on Blu-ray, DVD and digital on Tuesday, August 7 from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, The Death of Superman is the first in a two-part adaptation of the 1992-1993 DC Comics story of the same name. Part two, Reign of the Supermen, is due in early 2019.
