VRV has revealed a first-look teaser and images for its upcoming Cartoon Hangover toon, Bee and PuppyCat: Lazy in Space. Continuing the adventures of Natasha Allegri’s loveably bad-at-adulting Bee and her mysterious, magical housepet, the new half-hour series will expand the property’s wild universe for fans in 2019, only on Cartoon Hangover Select.
In this new story, our beloved characters will explore an expanded universe and combat problems big, small, totally weird and possibly dangerous, all while trying to make rent in time. In addition to longer-format episodes, the new series features an extended season. Which means more comfy pants and floor snacks for all!
Tokyo-based OLM, Inc. (Pokémon animated franchise), with support from its subsidiary in L.A., Sprite Animation, is co-producing Bee and PuppyCat with Frederator Studios (Castlevania, Adventure Time, The Fairly OddParents), with Allegri as showrunner.
Fans can catch up on the original Bee and PuppyCat series on the Cartoon Hangover YouTube channel, where episodes of the first season continue to roll out every Friday through November 9.
