Disney’s ‘Ralph’ Logs On with Google’s Internet Citizenship Program

Walt Disney Animation Studio’s Ralph Breaks the Internet is teaming up with Google’s Be Internet Awesome program to encourage the fundaments of digital citizenship and online safety for kids, so they can explore the online world with confidence — and steer clear of sticky situations like the ones Ralph and Vanellope find around every digital corner!

Starting today (February 4), Be Internet Awesome and Ralph Breaks the Internet-themed resources and digital tools, including internet safety tips, downloadable activity sheets, educator and parent guides, videos and more, are now available at: g.co/BeInternetAwesome.

Also just in time for for Safer Internet Day on February 5, check out some Be Internet Awesome tips for kids to stay internet safe with Ralph, Vanellope and friends.

Ralph Breaks the Internet is nominated for the 2019 Best Animated Feature Oscar, and is coming soon to disc and digital: on Digital 4K UHD/HD/SD and Movies Anywhere Feb. 12, and on Blu-ray and DVD Feb. 26.

Be Internet Awesome is Google’s multifaceted program designed to teach kids the fundamentals of digital citizenship and safety so they can explore the online world with confidence. The free program is available in English and Spanish and consists of an ISTE standards aligned curriculum, ready-made Pear Decks for each lesson, Interland – an adventure-packed online game about digital safety and citizenship, and a family guide for families to continue the conversation at home.
